Great way to make soft moist talapia with a great sauce. Serve with pasta.
Ingredients
- 4 pce Talapia Filet

0.25 tsp Seasoned Salt

1 tbsp Lemon Juice

2 tbsp Olive Oil

1 pce Onion, diced

1 can (10 1/2 oz) Diced Tomatoes Canned with Juices

2 tsp JalapeƱo (seeded and diced)

0.75 cup(s) Roasted Red Bell Pepper

0.5 cup(s) Chicken Broth
-
0.25 cup(s) Tomato Paste

1 tsp Garlic Powder
-
1 tsp Dried Oregano

500 gram Cooked Pasta
Directions

Sprinkle fillets with seasoned salt; drizzle with lemon juice. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook and stir until tender. Add tomatoes, peppers, broth, tomato paste, garlic powder and oregano; cook and stir 2-3 minutes longer.

Place fillets over tomato mixture; cook, covered, 6-8 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. If desired, serve with pasta.
Notes
- Taste the sauce before adding the fish. When it is too tart to your taste you can add 1/2 a tsp of sugar.
